2012년도 장애인 고용 우수사업주 10개 업체에서 항공지상 전문 조업사 ㈜에어코리아가 선정되었다.

 

장애인고용의 불모지였던 공항에서 에어코리아는 현재 현재 17명의 장애인을 채용하고 있으며 이 가운데 8명이 중증장애인이며 지속적으로 장애인 고용을 확대하고 있다. 또한 적합한 직무개발 및 부서별 멘토 직원을 지정하고 있으며, 전체 임직원에게 장애인 인식개선 교육을 실시하는 등 장애인 직원이 회사에 잘 적응할 수 있도록 지원하고 있다.

 

 

또한 청각장애인 네일 아티스트를 채용하여 사내 직원들로부터 큰 호응을 얻고 있으며 세계관문인 인천공항에서

 

항공서비스업으로 최초국제수화 통역사를 고용하여 여성장애인의 비율을 높였다. 또한 장애를 고려하여 주3일 자택 2일 출근제 시행으로 신규 변형 근로제 자체를 도입 하고 있다. 업무의 효율성을 높이기 위해 프로그램 지원을 아끼지 않았으며 편의시설 설치 및 수화동아리 신설하여 친밀감의 기회를 높였고 채용박람회에 직접 면접관 으로 참여하는 등 적극적인 노력을 기울이고 있다.

 

 

장애인고용 우수사업주 인증을 받으면 3년간 장애인고용시설자금 융자?무상지원 선정 시 우대, 고용노동부 정기근로감독 3년 면제, 국방부 물품 및 일반용역 적격심사 시 가점 부여 등 다양한 혜택이 주어진다.

 

 

에어코리아는 장애인 고용우수사업주에 선정된 만큼 장애인에게 지원을 아끼지 않으며 장애인고용을 더욱더적극적으로 확대시행 할 것 이라고 밝혔다

 

 

 

 

 

 

Air Korea was selected as one of the top 10 companies for hiring people with disabilities 2012.  

 

Disabled people have had a tough time and discriminated against when getting a job at airports.  However Air Korea has hired 17 disabled people including 8 people with severe disabilities and gradually increases the employment for people with disabilities.  Air Korea also assists employees with disabilities adjust to their jobs with mentoring programs and education programs aimed to increase the colleagues’ awareness of disabled people.   Air Korea has raised the employment rate for disabled people, especially for disabled women. 

 

Air Korea also offers a new flexible working condition – working from home for an agreed number of days each week – in consideration of the degrees of disability.  Moreover Air Korea provides facilities for disabled people, opens a sign language club to increase the sense of closeness among the employees, and participates in Job Fairs for Disabled People as an interviewer.  

 

When selected as an excellent employer for people with disabilities, Air Korea will receive various benefits such as preferential treatment in free support services and incentives for quantitative and qualitative evaluations of goods and services.
