Air Korea Recognized by Ministry of Employment and Labor for Job Creation

 

 

Air Korea was recognized for third consecutive year as top 100 companies for job creation.

 

 

 

On March 25, the Ministry of Employment and Labor (MOEL) recognized 100 companies for job creation. Since 2010, MOEL has announced a list honoring the year's most leading job creator in order to raise the public awareness of the importance of job creation

 

MOEL narrowed its list down from about 17,000 candidates to the top 100 winners by evaluating each of them on both the actual count and rate of employment growth.

 

Employer's strong willingness for job creation, positive investment, ability/performance-based employment, cooperative labor-management relations, and business growth under the Korean government's economic campaign are common features of the top 100 companies. They also put a lot of effort to hire from vulnerable class as a way to fulfill corporate social responsibility.

 

The top 100 companies are 30 small businesses with fewer than 300 employees, 35 medium-sized businesses with 300 to 999 employees, and 35 large businesses with at least 1,000 employees. The representatives of each company selected received a certification from President Park Geun-hye during a ceremony held at the presidential Blue House on March 25.

 

In particular, Air Korea was recognized as one of the top 100 companies for job creation for third consecutive year. Air Korea fulfills corporate social responsibility with ability/performance-based employment, proactive job creation and youth employment strategies, and Flexible Working Hours Program.
