2012년 10월 26일 항공 지상 조업 전문 회사인 에어코리아가 2012년도 고용노동부 일터혁신 우수기업으로 인증, 뒤이어 일터혁신 경진대회에서 대상(大賞)을 수상하는 쾌거를 이루었다.

 

 

고용노동부와 노사발전재단은 대기업, 중소기업, 공기업에 대해 5개 평가항목으로 1차(서면심사), 2차(현장실사) 심사를 거쳐  총 35 개 기업을 '우수기업'으로 선정했다. 에어코리아는 설립 4주년밖에 안된 신생 기업임에도 불구하고 창립 초 부터 노사 협력적 문화를 형성해왔으며 신뢰와 협력을 기반으로 생산성 향상과 업무개선등 다양한 성과를 올림으로써 우수 기업으로 인정을 받았다.

 

일터혁신 우수기업 인증제도란 일터혁신 활동 및 성과가 우수한 기업에 대해 정부가 "일터혁신 우수기업"으로 인증하고
인센티브를 부여하여 노사의 자율적 혁신을 촉진함과 동시에 기업의 경쟁력과 근로자의 삶의 질을 높이기 위한 취지로 마련된 제도이다.

 

 

구체적으로는 노사상생의 다양한 프로그램 시행, 계층별 소통체계 구축 및 직원역량강화를 위한 워크샵, 사내 외국어 페스티발 및 방송 컨텐스트 등을 통해 무분규 노사평화를 실현해왔으며 아마회 등 봉사단체를 조직하여 지역사회에 기여하는 나눔 경영을 실천하고 있다. 그 뿐만 아니라 지속적인 일터혁신으로 고용창출 및 생산성 향상 등으로 청년취업아카데미 최우수상, 인적자원개발(HRD) 우수기업 인증, 장애인 고용 우수기업으로 선정 되는 등 고무적인 결과를 올렸다.

Air Korea has been certified as one of the excellent organizations in terms of workplace innovation and won an award from Ministry of Employment and Labor at Workplace Innovation Conference on October 26, 2012.

 
Workplace Innovation Certification program was designed by the Korean government to foster and support autonomous innovation with incentives, and to raise business competitiveness and the quality of employees’ life. 

 
Ministry of Employment and Labor (MOEL) and Korea Labor Foundation (KLF) recognized 35 businesses as excellent organizations for workplace innovation after documentary reviews and on-site assessments based on five criteria.  With a cooperative culture built on trust and respect between labor and management, Air Korea received the best workplace innovation award in the large business category for its comprehensive efforts to increase productivities and the quality of work.
 

Air Korea provides various programs that encourage labor-management collaboration, ensure open communications, and improve the quality of workforces.  Air Korea, moreover, contributes to the local community by organizing volunteer clubs such as “Aama Club.”  Nationally, Air Korea also received the best award for increasing employment and productivity through Youth Career Academy, was named among the best employers for disabled people, and has been certified as the excellent organization in Human Resource Development (HRD) certification program
